DESCRIPTION

The breast packs are designed to be used as heat prior to breastfeeding to encourage your letdown and improve milk and blood flow in the breast. Once you have finished your feed we recommend using the cold packs to soothe the breast and to decrease pain, swelling and inflammation of the breast and nipple that is associated with engorgement. For mastitis, ice therapy is recommended.

Ice: Place in freezer for more than 1 hour or place in ice cold water until cool.

Heat: Microwave for 10 seconds, if more heat is desired increase in 5-second increments.

Overheating may cause damage to the product or injury to yourself. Check temperature before use. Do not place directly on the skin or open wounds. Place packs into the bamboo cover and apply to the breast.

Based on physiotherapy advice use for a maximum of 20 minutes at a time, and wait until the skin has returned to normal temperature before using again this will be around 15-20 mins later.

Tip: 20 minutes on, 20 minutes off as many times as you need throughout the day.

Amazing service

These ice and heat packs have been fabulous for breastfeeding! I’ve used them both warm and cold to help relieve engorgement and blocked ducts, and found them so soothing! I also accidentally threw out the soft covers (tired mum brain!), and lovely Georgia kindly sent me a replacement pair. Such amazing service, thank you!!

I’ve absolutely loved using these breast packs throughout my breastfeeding journey. I’ve used both heat and cold at different times depending on what my body needed, and they’ve made a big difference in my comfort. Highly recommend to any breastfeeding mama!
