DESCRIPTION

Our Ice & Heat Strips were designed to be used cold in the postpartum period to help with pain swelling and bruising following a vaginal birth with or without perineal tearing/episiotomy. They can also be used cold for pain relief on your C-section wound, haemorrhoids, vulva varicosities, pelvic girdle pain (SPD) or post gynaecological or colorectal surgery. We recommend using them warm prior to perineal massage in pregnancy and prior perineal or C-section scar massage postpartum. Our soft disposable covers allow for comfort and ease.

Ice: Place in freezer for more than 1 hour or place in ice cold water until cool.

Heat: Microwave for 10 seconds, if more heat is desired increase in 5-second increments. Overheating may cause damage to the product or injury to yourself.

Check temperature before use. Do not place directly onto the skin or open wounds. Insert the strip into our disposable covers.

Based on physiotherapy advice use for a maximum of 20 minutes at a time, and wait until the skin has returned to normal temperature before using again this will be around 15-20 mins later.

Tip: 20 minutes on, 20 minutes off as many times as you need throughout the day.

These ice & heat strips were such a relief during my postpartum recovery. I used them cold for swelling and pain after birth. They’re super versatile. So glad I had them on hand, I used them multiple times daily for weeks!
